DIRECTIONS

From Gaggal Airport (Dharamshala):

Reach the Kommune directly from the Gaggal airport, Dharamshala via village Shahpur (35 kms) or via village Ghera (30 kms) both of which take around 1 hour.

From Nearest Railway station (Pathankot):

One can reach the Kommune via rail by taking a train to Pathankot (75 kms) followed by a 2 hour drive from Pathankot.

From Dharamshala/ McLeodganj

The Kommune is located approx. 29 kms from Dharamshala, and taxis are easily available from Dharamshala bus stand, McLeodganj, Kangra and other commercial / Transportation hubs in the region. It takes around 1 hour 15 mins to reach from Dharamshala by road.

The more adventurous can also take the McLeodganj - Satobri -Barnet road and drop off at Barnet village (20 mins taxi ride from McLeodganj). Walk through the forest between Barnet & Ghera (an easy walk_ 20-30 mins mins). From Ghera, you can take a shared taxi (20 min ride) to reach Kareri.
