The Owner

Herding sheep for over 40 years, Kartar Singh owns the place and acts as a mentor of sorts. Whenever he is in the village (not more than 30-40 days in a year), he loves to chat-up and share stories and knowledge gathered from high mountain passes where he takes his sheep for over 9 months of the year to graze.

Front Stage Actors

Rishav, Suresh, Vinod & Raman are the guys who set up the place. They've toiled for months to put up the place and manage the day to day operations. While Suresh helps ideate, the rest three are the hands and feet on the ground to execute the operations.

Rishav: Left a corporate job to set up the Kommune as a dream he always cherished, to preserve the Gaddi culture and provide employment opportunities within the village.

Vinod: Currently pursuing master in Computers; the first graduate from Nohali Village, Vinod is also a certified guide.

Raman: Always smiling, a certified and highly experienced guide, he can make things happen that we would not imagine possible in human endurance, strength and spirit.

The Friends

Rishav's besties from childhood, Waryam and Dr. Samir have been integral to setting up the Kommune. Their regular visits and unending ideas nd suggestions

from the very beginning have been of immense value.

Both are excellent chefs as well and if in a mood will dish out some amazing fare (both local and global). They are the honorary "Chef and "Entertainer in chief" when visiting the Kommune
